WHAT DO JIMMY HENDRIX, THE BEATLES AND SHALINI GANGULI HAVE IN COMMON?

Hi everyone, happy Wednesday! Sorry I’ve been AWOL for awhile but it’s a bit of a hard time in Has’ family and I didn’t feel up to it to write really. He’s gone home to Trinidad for a couple weeks and I’m here stressed out and missing him bad! :(

As the title suggests, this post is about a little corner in this room that I wanted to do something about because its confused minimalism was a bit jarring. Confused because it’s just a little extension in the room with no apparent utilitarian purpose.

What was the purpose of this?

If you go back a few posts, you will see I had this destitute situation going on with Jimmy Hendrix, The Beatles, Marilyn Monroe and the Playboy Bunny. But after two months of having placed the order for a white console table, it finally arrived. You know what they say... given that's this is Delhi and anything can happen, better late than something else altogether!

La Table.

My art frames are looking pretty content now.

Frames looking happy. Right, Jimmy?

After a few permutation combinations, I realised that the little work nook that I’ve been wanting in my bedroom for a while, could be created right here because there was enough space. So with a small carpet that my mother gave me, and a chair that needs re-upholstering desperately, this place now looks pretty cosy, if I may say so myself. And I hope you do too.

Wired up.
With some of my favourite things from around the house brought to the same place, here's what the spot looks like. The spot where I'm writing this post from. :)
Still smiling. Good sign.

Zara is everywhere. Remember?

Bhaiya, Beatles concert jayega? Meter se lekin...

I'm pretty Gladwell too.

My Elly who recently suffered a fractured leg but is now okay thanks to Birla White Cement.

Writing this post.

Okay, suggestion time... I’m a little lost about what to dowith the blank walls. Do they need something, or this minimalism okay?

And please do notice, I didn’t leave Marilyn and Bunny homeless either. They’re hanging out next to my favourite chairs, with my favourite boy. Who, btw, is going to find out about all of it from this post. :)

Red eyes.
